The cad tool is designed in this way:
|
 1) Using the directional arrows. Click the direction you are about to measure relative to your position in your room. |
 2) Using the Number-Pad to the right Click in the distance in meters (eg Up 2.35) |
 3) Click DRAW (this is located on the numpad next to zero). Hopefully you will see a line which is your first wall!! |
 4) Repeat step 1 clicking in the next direction (eg Right ) |
 5) Again click in the distance eg 1.45 |
 6) Click Draw to place the next wall line. |
 7) Repeat these steps until you have reached the second to last wall, then click A (get area) which will draw in the last wall line and calculate the area. |
