Try this helpful tool to accurately calculate the meter squared of your floor areas. Unsure that you are ordering the right amount of flooring. This tool will help. It will not plan the quantity of flooring required for what you draw but will give you the exact net area size.
Normally if you are having floor tiles you add on 8-10% extra on top of the net sizes of your areas. Carpets would be anywhere from 10-25% extra added on. Although we wouldn’t recommend this way of planning for carpets and sheet materials as there is a little more involved in quantifying ie seams, the roll widths etc. Its better to send us drawings then we will plan the areas on our system.
How to use :- Simply move the circle then click the ADD button to pull out the first wall line to your desired length. Click ADD again then move the circle to pull the next wall. Continue this process until you are back where you started. You can measure the room walls clockwise or anti clockwise. You can drag – move a room around on the plan whilst clicking inside the room. The m2 will be displayed at the top.
